The metawear platform is a real playground that has opened doors to iOS development. I was daunted by the development idea but having the Metawear Kit helpded me visualize and therefore understand much better what i was doing. This tiny rectangular sized board is perfect for motion applications such as sports and motion analysis research. The sample application Mbientlab offers is completely customizable and open source. Source code for fully functional solutions such as ANCS are available and they offer excellent tutorials. This for me is a gateway to learning iOS development.
